429 Youths Attend Itorero Indangamirwa 2024

429 Rwandan youths, mostly those living abroad, attended Itorero Indangamirwa Intake 14, where they will be taught about Rwandan values, norms, and taboos over a period of 45 days from July 5, 2024, to August 20, 2024, at Nkumba in Burera District.

On July 5th, the Minister of National Unity and Civic Engagement, Dr. Jean Damascene Bizimana, alongside other officials, participated in the first day of Itorero Indagamirwa 2024.

Speaking to the youths, Minister Dr. Bizimana advised them to strengthen the values of Rwandan culture, including unity, patriotism, honesty, work efficiency, and other relevant aspects. He also encouraged them to avoid negative behaviors like division, betrayal, cowardice, and more.

The participants of Itorero Indangamirwa are Rwandan youths living abroad, graduates of international schools in Rwanda, high achievers in Urugerero, young entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders.

Since 2008, 4624 youths have participated in Itorero Indagamirwa.

This initiative is designed to engage and empower Rwandan youth, both in Rwanda and overseas, aged 18-25, through a transformative training experience focused on personal development, professional growth, and a strong connection to their Rwandan heritage.
