CAR: Rwandan female Peacekeepers, local women in celebrate International Women’s Day

On 8th March 2025, female Peacekeepers from the Rwandan Battalion (RWABG VII) serving under MINUSCA with local women in Bria Town, Haute-Koto prefecture, Central African Republic (CAR) celebrated the International Women’s Day.

The event strengthened unity and enhanced cooperation between peacekeepers and the community.

RWABG VII female soldiers reaffirmed their dedication to empowering local women through mentorship and capacity-building programs.

This celebration fostered deeper connections and inspired hope for a more inclusive future.

Both peacekeepers and local community women are committed to continue contributing to efforts in promoting peace, security, and women’s rights in the region.

Observed annually on March 8, International Women’s Day celebrates women’s achievements and advocates for gender equality.
