Garissa University Celebrates its 5th Graduation Ceremony

Earlier in the day, a foundation stone for the new Garissa University Administration Block was laid, symbolizing growth and resilience. A commemorative wreath was laid in honour of the 148 students who tragically lost their lives in a terrorist attack at the university in 2015. This solemn act of remembrance serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience and strength of the Garissa University community. It stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of the students and staff who have continued to strive for excellence in the face of adversity.
Enhancing Infrastructure and Resources
In addition to laying the foundation stone, a new borehole was commissioned at the institution. This borehole will significantly improve the water supply, addressing one of the critical needs of the university. Reliable access to water is essential for the well-being of students and staff and is crucial for maintaining the operations of the university. This development is part of broader efforts to improve the infrastructure and resources available to the institution, further enabling it to provide high-quality education and support to its students.
