President Kagame Meets Qatar Prime Minister at Humanitarian Conference in Jordan

On the sidelines of the “Call for Action: Urgent Humanitarian Response for Gaza” conference, held in the Dead Sea region of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Excellency President Paul Kagame of the friendly Republic of Rwanda welcomed His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

 

During this high-level meeting, Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed conveyed the heartfelt greetings and best wishes of His Highness the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. His Highness expressed his hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Rwanda.

 

The conference, a crucial gathering aimed at addressing the urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza, provided a platform for international leaders to discuss and coordinate responses to the ongoing crisis.

 

President Kagame and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed took this opportunity to reinforce the strong diplomatic ties between Rwanda and Qatar, discussing ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various sectors.

 

President Kagame expressed his gratitude for the Amir’s greetings and conveyed his own best wishes to the leadership and people of Qatar. The meeting underscored the mutual respect and commitment both nations share towards fostering peace, stability, and development in their respective regions.
