Rwanda International Trade Fair kicks off

On Thursday, July 25, the 27th Rwanda International Trade Fair (RITF 2024), organized annually by the Private Sector Federation (PSF), officially started at Gikondo Expo Grounds, and will run for the next 21 days until August 15, 2024.

This time, the biggest trading exhibition is bringing together more than 700 exhibitors from 20 countries.

According to the PSF, the Expo gates open for both visitors and exhibitors from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm on weekdays and until midnight on weekends.

Entrance fees are 500 Rwf for one child and 1000 Rwf for an adult.

The Expo is expected to attract between 10,000 to 15,000 visitors on weekdays, and 25,000 to 45,000 during the weekends.

This edition includes 700 exhibitors from 20 countries, including India, Singapore, China, South Korea, Syria, Pakistan, and Iran. On the African continent, countries like Benin, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania, Mozambique, Togo, Egypt, and Nigeria are participating.

The last exhibition, held for the 26th time, was attended by a total of 403 exhibitors from 21 countries, including 291 Rwandan exhibitors. In total, more than 300 thousand people participated in buying various products and services.
