Nyamirambo and neighborhood was covered by different people from all roads around Kigali city as they travel to Kigali Pele Stadium where the FERWAFA Super cup match took place on this Saturday. This is a battle match between recently season cup winner team and Peace cup winner team here in Rwanda and it’s the first match which introduce new coming season of Rwanda Premier league every year.
This year’s super cup game was between two most expensive squad in Rwanda as APR FC(Champion of Rwanda Premier league)and POLICE FC(winner of peace cup). APR fc was curious to the fans as they are waiting to see different new foreigner players from the team as Police fc respectively.
Match started at 15:00 pm as APR fc align only one player from new ones ( Dauda yussif seidu ) and fans also was not happy for team coach Darco Novic as their expectations were to see all new players on the pitch. Police Fc of Mashami Vincent tried to align more different new players in starting 11 as they show up with a good game .
The game was not enough to entertain the population at Kigali Pele Stadium, as it ended with a draw of 0-0. The teams are supposed to move to penalty shootout directly as Apr fc lost on 5 penalty over 6 of Police fc, then Police fc unexpected is the winner of Rwanda Super cup.
