Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, often called the “Sleeping Prince,” has been in a coma since 2005 after a serious car accident in London.

At the time of the accident, he was 18 years old and attending military school. Despite doctors advising to disconnect life support, his father, Prince Khaled bin Talal, refused. He said that if it were God’s will for his son to die, it would happen naturally without human action.

Over the years, there have been reports of small movements from Prince Al-Waleed. In 2019, a video showed him slightly moving his head after 14 years in a coma.

In 2020, another video showed him raising his hand in response to a greeting from his aunt, Princess Noura bint Talal bin Abdulaziz.

The prince’s family has never given up hope. They continue to believe he might one day wake up and recover.

However, despite these rare signs of movement, there has been no major change in his condition. His family remains committed to caring for him, keeping their faith alive.

Prince Al-Waleed’s story has touched many people around the world. It stands as a symbol of hope, love, and the strong bond within families.
