Useni Seraphine Shines in Rwanda Premier League First Phase

The first phase of the Rwanda Premier League, witnessed impressive performances from several players, particularly in scoring goals. A total of 207 goals were recorded, with Rayon Sports leading the tally with 25 goals, followed by APR FC with 18, while Kiyovu Sports scored the least, with 14 goals.

Among the standout players was Usen Seraphine of Amagaju FC, who scored 8 goals, making him one of the league’s top scorers. In an interview with Rwandatop, the 20-year-old striker from DR Congo shared insights into his journey and success. Trained at GOAL Academy in Goma, Sephine began his professional career with FC Étoile du Kivu before earning a spot in DR Congo’s U20 national team.

Seraphine revealed that his most challenging match was against Police FC, which taught him valuable lessons about teamwork and resilience. “Victory comes from collective effort,” he told Rwandatop. He also praised the league’s competitiveness, noting that it pushes him to improve constantly.

Focused on discipline and determination, Sephine aspires to reach greater heights in football, both in Rwanda and internationally, making him a promising talent to watch in the second phase of the league.
