Australian government will be contributing $6 million over three years for Good Friday Appeal, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said.

Through the video on X formerly Twitter, Minister Albanese said it’s an amazing charity that cares for the youngest Australians and their families.

“And not just in traditional ways of providing that health care directly, but also in the support services that are there including; a ground breaking mental health campus support for children but also for their families at what can be a really difficult time,” He added.

He concludes wishing all the people with Christian faith a “Holy Easter” and that it’s an important time for people of faith.

Good Friday Appeal is a charity that raises money to enable the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne to provide world class care for children.

The strength of the Good Friday Appeal lies with the thousands of people who volunteer their expertise, time and talent to organise fundraising activities throughout the year.

It worked since 1931 to deliver the best possible care to patients and their families at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.

“The Good Friday Appeal does such amazing work to help sick children and their families, and my government is proud to support them,” Albanese wrote on X this Friday.
