Didier Loic Labonne, 28, faces the court for the first time on Monday charged with filming women in toilet at a Perth university.
Mr Labonne charged with three counts of unlawfully installing a surveillance device, three counts of trespassing and one count of stealing as a servant.
Mr Labonne alleged between August 2023 and February this year, used mobile phone to record women using the facility following using stolen key to access the service area behind the toilet at Notre Dame University.
In Ferbuary, detectives charged Mr Labonne from the Child Exploitation Operations Unit after alleged discovery of a mobile phone in the university toilets, according to News.com.au.
He was not required to enter a plea to the charges and is due to reappear in court on April 29.
