People treated after flight to Auckland met technical problem

Latam airlines flight from Sydney to Auckland encountered technical problem and caused the injuries.

Even though the incident happened but the flight landed at Auckland International airport as scheduled.

At 3.58pm local time on Monday, Hato Hone St John Ambulance were called for aids. The Guardian Australia reported. 

People affected were treated at the airport. Ambulance crews treated 50 people and 13 people transported to Middlemore hospital and one person is in serious condition. 

The flight experienced strong movement that reportedly saw passengers suddenly thrown about the plane.

Passenger who was in the plane said that it just dropped from the sky about two hours into the three hour flight, passengers thrown from their seats and some hit the ceiling.

“Latam regrets the inconvenience and injury this situation may have caused its passengers, and reiterates its commitment to safety as a priority within the framework of its operational standards.” Latam Spokesperson said.
