The President of the Republic of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto, has commended President Kagame for his resolute leadership that transformed Rwanda.
This was included in the message that President Ruto wrote on X, one day after Rwandans started the 100-day commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
President William Ruto wrote that after 30 years, the country has made tremendous progress that demonstrates the total resilience of the people and the government of Rwanda.
“Rwanda is a shining example of the people’s immeasurable power not only to overcome adversity but also to reconcile and live as one people,” President Ruto added on X.
Ruto commends his brother President Paul Kagame for his resolute leadership, tremendous courage, and abundant foresight.
“The people and government of Kenya wish him and the people of Rwanda godspeed as they continue to build their country to even greater heights,” President William Ruto concludes.
While delivering his remarks during the 30th commemoration ceremony at BK Arena, President Paul Kagame thanked Kenya for hosting large numbers of Rwandan refugees and giving them a home.
