Hundreds of primary school students have been pulled out of their classrooms due to asbestos scare in the classrooms detected last week in blocks D and E at Rochedale State School.
The classrooms are where year two and three students learn.
Teacher noticed dust and raised the alarm, 9News told.
After the issue, school called an emergency meeting with a doctor and caregivers.
One parent who attended the meeting said it didn’t help and they have lost faith in the school.
After the students were removed, they have temporality moved to other classrooms, while the impacted rooms have been cleaned and sealant applied to the ceilings.
On the schedule, students will return to the classrooms after the Easter break.
