Rwanda and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan police signed cooperation agreements in capacity building, exchange of expertise and experience, and cooperation in other sectors of security interest.

The agreement was signed on Monday, 2 September, when Minister of Interior of Rwanda, Dr. Vincent Biruta, and IGP Felix Namuhoranye started a 3-day visit to Jordan to establish cooperation in security and law enforcement between the two countries.

During the visit, IGP Namuhoranye signed a cooperation agreement with his counterpart, Maj. Gen. Abeidallah A. Maaytah, Director of Public Security of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
