Rwanda’s national carrier, Rwandair, has suspended its flights to Mumbai, India, effective 15th March 2024.
This was announced on 1st March 2024 via X, as Rwandair stated that they regret to inform the public that Rwandair will suspend all flights to and from Mumbai effective 15th March 2024.
“Passengers holding Rwandair tickets after this date are advised to contact us or their preferred travel agents for refunds or rebooking options,” Rwandair stated in the statement.
The national carrier did not mention the reason behind the suspension. RwandAir apologises for the inconveniences caused.
In April 2017, RwandAir started flights between Kigali and Mumbai. It is a special journey because RwandAir flies for seven hours without stopping, unlike other airlines.
