On Saturday, August 24, 2024, the Rwandan High Commissioner to Canada, in collaboration with the Humura Association, RCA Ottawa-Gatineau, and CARY Ottawa, hosted a vibrant Umuganura/barbecue event at Britannia Park in Ottawa. The event, which began at 2 PM, was a resounding success, bringing together members of the Rwandan community and their friends for an afternoon of celebration and cultural exchange.
The park was alive with the sounds of Afro-Rwandan music, setting the perfect backdrop for the festivities. Attendees enjoyed a variety of delicious foods, including tantalizing kebabs from BBQ Golden Grill, which were a highlight of the event.
