During a Thursday press conference, NEC announced that candidacies will be received during working hours, on workdays, at its headquarters in Kigali City, Nyarugenge district, Kiyovu.
Aspirants are advised to communicate with the electoral commission at least 24 hours before they arrive at NEC for candidacy submission.
The provisional list of approved candidates for the presidency, as well as parliament, will be announced on June 6, while the final list will be announced on June 14.
The campaign period will begin on June 22 and close on July 13.
The election for Rwandan Diaspora will take place on July 14 while it will be on July 15, 2024, for Rwandans living in the country.
The final results of the elections will be announced on July 27, 2024.
