Rayon Sports are aiming to overturn a 2-0 first-leg defeat against Black Bulls when the two sides meet in Mozambique on Saturday, with a place in the CAF group stages at stake.

The Rwandan giants face a difficult challenge away from home, needing at least three goals without conceding to secure qualification in regular time.

Rayon Sports have previously made their mark on the continental stage, notably reaching the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2018. They now hope to build on that achievement by overcoming the deficit and advancing to the group stages.

Coach Haringingo Francis has included Iradukunda Elie Tatou in the travelling squad after leaving him out of the first leg, while Black Bulls coach Nelson Santos could have young forward Diego Elias Pelembe available after he missed the previous encounter.

Rayon Sports must also overcome their record in decisive away matches, having failed to win their last three encounters in the final qualifying round before the group stages.

With their continental ambitions on the line, Gikundiro will need a disciplined and clinical performance in Mozambique to produce a comeback and keep their CAF campaign alive.
