Sydney: the search of missed swimmer set to be resumed

On Monday, the search of missed swimmer at Bronte Beach in Sydney is set to be resumed after being caught in rip to resume at dawn.

NSW Ambulance helicopter, a maritime police boat and NSW Lifesaves are involved in the operation of a large-scale search launched.

The reports of missing man come on Sunday at about 7:45pm and the emergency services were called.

 

Previously the other swimmer swept away by the rip but was later found and saved. It’s common that the dangerous rips are feature of Bronte Beach.

People are warned to avoid swimming in the green water the rip creates which tends to look inviting to beachgoers.
