Two people have been died in a two-vehicle crash in Perth’s north-east.
Two car collided on Muchea East Road near Polinelli Road in Lower Chittering, about 5.10am today.
The drivers were a 47-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man, both died at the scene but no other people were involved.
Premier Roger Cook called for all drivers to slow down.
“Please just take extra care this weekend. That 10 minutes extra that you take to get to your destination may be the difference between accidents, loss of life and enjoyable weekend,” he said.
Police Commander Mike Bell reminded people of road safety in the Easter campaign.
