President Paul Kagame spoke this on Monday, June 24, at Ngororero Stadium, where he was welcomed by over 100,000 RPF supporters on the third day of the presidential campaign.
During his remarks, President Kagame emphasized that working together is a sign of strength and unshakeable commitment, not a weakness.
“Working together is not a weakness. It is a sign of strength and unshakable commitment to our goals. When people are united in their goals, working together, they can achieve anything,” Chairman Kagame said at the RPF Presidential Campaign in Ngororero District.
President Kagame said that parties that are in a coalition with the RPF do not front their own candidates, these parties are with them because they believe that, working together with the RPF, they will be able to achieve more than each one of them taking their path.
“In politics, there are times when people feel like, why did the parties that are in a coalition with the RPF not front their candidates? Some think that they didn’t because they failed, but that’s not true.
“These parties are with us because they believe that, working together with the RPF, we will be able to achieve more than each one of us taking our path, trying to achieve something, which might work for some but not for others. But when people or parties work together, everything they set out to do works out perfectly,” Chairman Kagame added.
The fourth day of the RPF-INKOTANYI presidential campaign will continue on Tuesday in Kigali City, Nyarugenge District.
