The New South Wales State Government in Australia is warning the public to take care after a flu epidemic has killed a student’s child.

A 16-year-old student who studied at St Joseph’s Catholic College in North Gosford has died because of Influenza B.

This flu has hit the area because there has been a 30% increase in the virus that causes it, according to Dr. Kelly Chant, who is in charge of health recently announced last week.

Dr Chant says that this flu is affecting children between the ages of 5 and 16, and he is taking the opportunity to advice parents do not allow their children to go out in this Winter season holidays while and they should be vaccinated against the flu if they not take it before.
